How to edit the text in a PDF without Acrobat

Most PDFs cannot be edited like a document. The PDF2.in editor reads the font, size and colour of each line, so your changes match the rest of the page.

Steps

  1. 1

The editor is part of your account. Log in with Google or an emailed code.

  2. 2

    Open your PDF

Add the file. Each line of text is detected along with its font, size and colour.

  3. 3

Click a line and retype it

Change the wording, a name, a date or a number. The new text matches the old.

  4. 4

    Preview, then download

Check every page in the preview. You pay once, per document, only to download the edited PDF.

Tips

  • Use the preview

Look at each page before you pay, so you know the edit is right.

  • No source file needed

You edit the PDF itself, so the original Word or design file is not required.

Questions

How much does it cost?

Editing and previewing are free. You pay a small one-off fee per document, shown in your local currency, only to download. There is no subscription.

Will the new text look like the old text?

The editor detects each line's font, size and colour so your changes blend in.

Do I need Acrobat or the original file?

No. It works on the PDF alone, in your browser.
